The White House of Wilmington Receives Award of Excellence

Wine Spectator Magazine , one of the leading and most respected wine publications in existence today, has recently honored The White House of Wilmington in the Southern Vermont town of Wilmington, the 2007 Award of Excellence for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world. The restaurant will be listed in the annual dining guide in the August 31, 2007 issue of Wine Spectator.

The White House offers fine dining in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. For nearly 30 years the inn has been under the management of one family. Over the years the reputation of the White House has grown steadily and become known for excellent service, a select menu and the warmth and beauty of the stately Victorian mansion overlooking the Deerfield Valley. Mt. Snow is seven miles north on historic Rt. 100. The White House building complex includes the main inn, a guest house and a cottage. The inn is a perfect destination for any season of the year and caters to corporate retreats as well as to honeymooners.
